Pre-Trip Multi Media Project.

1. Which media environments and technologies/applications/platforms will I use in documenting and telling the story of my China trip?

 I will be using a combination of photography and short prose and poetry to document my China trip. These will all be posted on my blog. I'm not exactly sure right now how I'm going to put them together, whether it's writing about the experience where the photo was taken or what, but I want it to be a creative travel writing piece.

2. What equipment/gear will I need to bring to capture my stories?

I will be bringing my Nikon D60 camera and notebooks to China. I do better with pen and paper than I do with computers, so no need to drag that through security.

2. How will I capture and "bottle" my stories while traveling in China?

I plan to take photos while traveling and uploading them when I get back. I also plan on writing lots of notes, and working on portfolio pieces, particularly poetry. If I can get to a computer I may type up my pieces, but most of it will be up when I get back to the States.

4. Please provide a "sample example" of your multimedia approach here.

I keep a tumblr, which has examples of my poetry and my photography.
